That's cool, I've got a '59 Edsel 2 door hard top all original.

But my dream car is a '53 Cadillac El Dorado Convert.

I'm bored so here's pic of my hot rod at the track.

I haven't raced it since they closed down Palmdale. I was getting low 12's on the motor. It's a 396/T400/12 bolt with 4.10's. I've almost get the disk brake conversion done and the NO2 installed. I've also done some rear suspension mods since my last race. I want to get into the 11's on the motor. Once I get into the 11's I'll have to install a cage and 5 point seat belts.

That is a nice car, and one day I will build a hot rod. A chevelle or malibu from 64 to 65 is what I would like.

I bought it when I was 16. It was actually a low rider when I first got it. $500 with a straight 6, 2 speed powerglide, and a 10 bolt open diff. I drove it for my Jr and Sr year of high school. Then I joined the USMC and left it with my brother for a year so he could get to school and take my youngest brother to preschool. Slowly I built what I could and got this far. I took it in for paint after I got back from Iraq in 2003.

My first build was a car I only have real pictures of it though no digital I'll try and scan them and put them up. 88 camaro swapped the mpfi2.8 out in favor of a carbed 350 .030 stock heads and a huge cam Rolling Eyes Hole in the hood for the air cleaner would barely idle and had no vacum so under 2k power brakes stopped working no power steering no windshield wipers no heater or defroster. But I still thought I was the shit at 16. haha. Also had a 65 2 door olds that I got from my great grandma that i never did anything with but it had a 2 speed auto with 3.08 gears and would do 80 in first gear. Very Happy
